THE "CORPORATIONS-UNITED NATIONS" ARE TRYING TO TAKE OVER INDIGENOUS PEOPLE AND LANDS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD

It looks like the corporations and the United Nations have given the United States the job of taking over Indigenous people and our resources worldwide. In Canada the para-military organization of the most powerful province, Ontario, is being openly assisted by U.S. agents, the ATF Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms in their dealings with Indians. A few years ago this could never have happened. Canada would kick up a big stink. Any American bounty hunter who forgot about the border and chased his quarry across would cause an international incident. Canada used to defend its sovereignty. Things have obviously changed. No one has said “boo”.

The media has acknowledged that American officers in American vehicles have been operating north of the border. The evidence shows they were not just spying on us Indians, but also on CSIS and the Canadian police. Ontario is the richest and most powerful province in Canada. The fact that no comment has been made suggests that Canada has already been co-opted by the United States.

A few years ago the Indigenous people around the world were given a warning. Scientists were sent out by pharmaceuticals to go everywhere and take blood samples of every Indigenous group worldwide. Some were paid for their blood sample. Many did not know where their blood was going. Someone wanted our DNA. Our blood was put into a blood bank in Washington DC. They were gathering the genetic blueprint of the original people who populated the world, so they said.

Why were they were looking for the genetic strain of the original people of all the lands on the globe? By putting this information into the computers, they are now able to trace systematically and keep tract of who is Indigenous or part-Indigenous anywhere in the world.

Sixty-five years ago Hitler and his Nazi Party collected the same kind of information in Germany and in the surrounding countries. They classified everyone who was Jewish or part-Jewish. This systematic categorizing enabled them to find out who they were going to send to the concentration camps to be annihilated. Is there another reason for gathering the DNA of all Indigenous people?

In order for the multinational corporations and their bosses to take over the world, they have to get rid of the real owners of the land and resources, us. They have to find us and then systematically categorize us out of existence. When the pogram starts, they will know who to pick up and throw into jail. Who knows what happens to us after that? Even the Supreme Court of the United States was afraid of the power of the U.S. Presidency. They ruled against President George Bush illegal detentions at Guantanamo Bay Cuba. Does this matter to the multi-national corporations who run the country and the world anyways?

In Canada at this time it seems that the Ontario Provincial Police OPP have become closely associated with the American policing agency known as the ATF and otherwise known as the “Wackos from Waco” for their iron-fisted way of handling confrontational policing situations.

It appears that Canada is no longer an independent country. On April 28th the Six Nations men pulled over a U.S. Border Patrol van and discovered two ATF officers in it with an OPP officer. They were taking photos of the people at the barricade. It seems that the ATF officers were in charge of this operation. Is this why there are no complaints? Their American bosses said, “Shut up or else!”

The van was full of high tech equipment and complete reports on their strategic role in the “OPP” surveillance of the Six Nations Indians. We had reclaimed our stolen land since February 28, 2006. ATF has been there since the beginning. It looks like the largest police force in Canada has been co-opted by a US policing agency. In fact, the OPP officers are now wearing New York State Trooper style cowboy hats and dark blue uniforms. It is almost impossible to tell them apart from their U.S. counterparts. Does this mean that the Americans have finally won and Canada’s days of independence are numbered?

Ontario has one-third of the population of Canada. It has over one-third of the Members of Parliament. It controls over one-third of the GNP. If the US wants to take over Canada, then all they have to do is get control of Ontario, don’t they? That’ll split the country down the middle. Taking the rest should be a piece of cake. It seems this would start by gaining control of the policing.

The multi-national corporations are salivating over the major natural resources of Canada, like the Oil Sands in Alberta. There is more oil in Alberta than in all of the Middle East. The Americans want it. They want all of the natural resources, minerals, forests and water found within the boundaries of Canada. They have no intention of listening to the complaints of uppidy “Injuns” like us. Stephen Harper received some guidance from the US on how to become the Prime Minister of Canada. Now it looks like Harper is allowing the United States and the multi-national corporations to help themselves to our Indigenous resources.

Our title, inherent jurisdiction and land claims are hindering “full development” of all these natural resources. These Indigenous land claims must be eliminated to carry out their agenda. This is why there is such a great interest in the Indigenous people at this time. Is this why the United Nations, another institution that has been co-opted by the multi-national-military-industrial-pharmaceutical complex, is presently in the process of tying up all the loose ends around Indigenous people world wide?

The Ipperwash Inquiry had a hidden plan in its mission statement. In the end it looks like they wanted to show how an Indian can be shot, how the cops can cover up for each other and get away with murder. The inquiry did not quell the violence against Indigenous people in Canada.

As a matter of fact, the “might makes right” colonial agenda was enhanced by the inquiry. It showed that if Indians are shot and killed and our blood flows for them to see, there is a shark-like feeding frenzy stirred up in certain segments of colonial society against us. Just look at the Caledonians who are not discouraged by the state to attack us for taking back land that is ours.

Recently two films were produced by both CTV and CBC. One was about J.J. Harper, an influential Indigenous leader in Winnipeg. In 1988 he was murdered in cold blood by a police officer. Then there was another film made for television viewing which shows the Ipperwash land reclamation in 1995 when Dudley George was murdered. Both these films sensationalized the killing of Indians with our blood flowing and beatings of our people throughout. Are certain unstable elements in Canada being stirred up to go hunting down Indians so they will kill us? They say they want to “kill us” right to our faces. Their placards saying, “Bring in the army” show they want to see violence. Is the ATF here to show Canadians how to carry out their formula for the “final solution”?

What is the ultimate end of all this? If the Indigenous people are done away with once and for all, the real estate on Turtle Island will have been freed from the Indian title that has been in the way for hundreds of years. Indigenous resources can be exploited freely by the multi-national corporations. Turtle Island will be raped of the rest of its resources. Just look at British Columbia. The Douglas Fir, which took 300 years to grow, is being cut down in minutes, put onto ships and sent overseas. The Indigenous people, and not even Canada for that matter, got nothing for it.

Up to now, Canada has been held back by this “Indian title”. In fact, negotiations on land claims have generally reached a stalemate because Canada simply does not want to admit that most of what it claims belongs to us. Otherwise the multi-nationals could have just walked in and taken everything. They had to deal with the legal Indian title ratified by the constitutions and the courts in both Canada and the United States. As soon as the new land theft is put in place, and they find Indigenous people who will sell us out, Turtle Island is going to be raped once again. But first they have to eliminate Indian title and the Indians. Is this what’s going on?



A Trial for Thousands Denied Trial

Something remarkable is going on in a Miami courtroom. The cruel methods US interrogators have used since September 11 to "break" prisoners are finally being put on trial.

This was not supposed to happen. The Bush Administration's plan was to put José Padilla on trial for allegedly being part of a network linked to international terrorists. But Padilla's lawyers are arguing that he is not fit to stand trial because he has been driven insane by the government.

Arrested in May 2002 at Chicago's O'Hare airport, Padilla, a Brooklyn-born former gang member, was classified as an "enemy combatant" and taken to a Navy prison in Charleston, South Carolina. He was kept in a 9-by-7-foot cell with no natural light, no clock and no calendar. Whenever Padilla left the cell, he was shackled and suited in heavy goggles and headphones. Padilla was kept under these conditions for 1,307 days. He was forbidden contact with anyone but his interrogators, who punctured the extreme sensory deprivation with sensory overload, blasting him with harsh lights and pounding sounds. Padilla also says he was injected with a "truth serum," a substance his lawyers believe was LSD or PCP.

According to his lawyers and two mental health specialists who examined him, Padilla has been so shattered that he lacks the ability to assist in his own defense. He is convinced that his lawyers are "part of a continuing interrogation program" and sees his captors as protectors. In order to prove that "the extended torture visited upon Mr. Padilla has left him damaged," his lawyers want to tell the court what happened during those years in the Navy brig. The prosecution strenuously objects, maintaining that "Padilla is competent," that his treatment is irrelevant.

US District Judge Marcia Cooke disagrees. "It's not like Mr. Padilla was living in a box. He was at a place. Things happened to him at that place." The judge has ordered several prison employees to testify at the hearings on Padilla's mental state, which begin February 22. They will be asked how a man alleged to have engaged in elaborate antigovernment plots now acts, in the words of brig staff, "like a piece of furniture."

It's difficult to overstate the significance of these hearings. The techniques used to break Padilla have been standard operating procedure at Guantánamo Bay since the first prisoners arrived five years ago. They wore blackout goggles and sound-blocking headphones and were placed in extended isolation, interrupted by strobe lights and heavy metal music. These same practices have been documented in dozens of cases of CIA "extraordinary rendition" as well as in prisons in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Many have suffered the same symptoms as Padilla. According to James Yee, former Army Muslim chaplain at Guantánamo, there is an entire section of the prison called Delta Block for detainees who have been reduced to a delusional state. "They would respond to me in a childlike voice, talking complete nonsense. Many of them would loudly sing childish songs, repeating the song over and over." All of Delta Block was on twenty-four-hour suicide watch.

Human Rights Watch has exposed a US-run detention facility near Kabul known as the "prison of darkness"--tiny pitch-black cells, strange blaring sounds. "Plenty lost their minds," one former inmate recalled. "I could hear people knocking their heads against the walls and the doors."

These standard mind-breaking techniques have never faced scrutiny in a US court because the prisoners in the jails are foreigners and have been stripped of the right of habeas corpus--a denial that, scandalously, was just upheld by a federal appeals court in Washington, DC. There is only one reason Padilla's case is different: He is a US citizen. The Administration did not originally intend to bring Padilla to trial, but when his status as an enemy combatant faced a Supreme Court challenge, the Administration abruptly changed course, charging Padilla and transferring him to civilian custody. That makes Padilla's case unique: He is the only victim of the post-9/11 legal netherworld to face an ordinary US trial.

Now that Padilla's mental state is the central issue in the case, the government prosecutors have a problem. The CIA and the military have known since the early 1960s that extreme sensory deprivation and sensory overload cause personality disintegration--that's the whole point. "The deprivation of stimuli induces regression by depriving the subject's mind of contact with an outer world and thus forcing it in upon itself. At the same time, the calculated provision of stimuli during interrogation tends to make the regressed subject view the interrogator as a father-figure." That comes from Kubark Counterintelligence Interrogation, a 1963 declassified CIA manual for interrogating "resistant sources."

The manual was based on the findings of the agency's notorious MK Ultra program, which in the 1950s funneled about $25 million to scientists to research "unusual techniques of interrogation." One of the psychiatrists who received CIA funding was the infamous Ewen Cameron of Montreal's McGill University. Cameron subjected hundreds of psychiatric patients to large doses of electroshock and total sensory isolation and drugged them with LSD and PCP. In 1960 Cameron gave a lecture at the Brooks Airforce Base in Texas in which he stated that sensory deprivation "produces the primary symptoms of schizophrenia."

There is no need to go so far back to prove that the US military knew full well that it was driving Padilla mad. The Army's field manual, reissued just last year, states, "Sensory deprivation may result in extreme anxiety, hallucinations, bizarre thoughts, depression, and anti-social behavior," as well as "significant psychological distress."

If these techniques drove Padilla insane, that means the US government has been deliberately driving hundreds, possibly thousands, of prisoners insane around the world. What is on trial in Florida is not one man's mental state. It is the whole system of US psychological torture.
